Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the old town and close to the train station. The rooms were spotless and spacious, providing a great view of the lively square where dancing and parades could be enjoyed from our balcony. The service was top-notch, with knowledgeable and helpful staff members. However, the uphill walk to the check-in and out area was a bit tiring, and the loud church bell could be disturbing at times.
My stay at the hotel was simply delightful. The room was spacious and beautifully designed in an oriental style, offering a lovely view of Rathaus in the Altstadt. The service was top-notch with knowledgeable and helpful staff, although the lack of coffee and tea refills was a small downside. The central location was perfect for exploring Lucerne, but the noise from the nearby church bells and streets might disturb light sleepers. The dining experience, although good with a variety of dishes, required a separate visit to another hotel. Overall, a great place to stay with just a few minor drawbacks to consider.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The location was great in the heart of the old town with beautiful views, but the noise from the church bells and nearby activities disturbed my sleep. The rooms were very basic and old, not up to modern standards, but the dining experience was excellent at the nearby Krone hotel.
The hotel is conveniently located near central attractions and offers decent service, but the rooms are outdated and have some maintenance issues. The dining experience is enjoyable, and the location is very central despite being noisy at times.
Staying at this hotel was a real treat! The oriental-style rooms provided a fantastic view of the Rathaus in the Altstadt, and they were miraculously ready for me by 3 pm, just as I requested. The only downside is that room numbering can be a bit confusing, as starting with a 2 might mean climbing a few extra flights of stairs to reach your room.
The hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, designed with an add-on Jacuzzi for honeymooners, were disappointing with old and basic amenities that didn't work well. However, the location was superbly centered among tourist attractions and right on the river. Service was a hit-or-miss with some staff being unsmiley while others were helpful. Dining was simple but good, and the hotel lacked some expected facilities.
